About these terms
These terms apply to the use of the Solid Base Contractors website (www.solidbase.co.nz) and to construction services provided by Solid Base Contractors Ltd (trading as Solid Base Contractors). By engaging us for work, you agree to these terms together with any project-specific quote or contract we issue.
Quotes
Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Quotes are based on the information available at the time of the site visit. Any additional work, unforeseen ground conditions or changes in scope will be discussed and quoted before proceeding.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in your project quote. For larger projects we typically invoice progressively. Invoices are due on the terms shown on the invoice. Late payments may incur interest and reasonable recovery costs.
Site access & safety
You agree to provide reasonable site access and to disclose any known hazards, underground services or restrictions before work begins. We follow current NZ health and safety standards on every site.
Warranties
We stand behind our workmanship. Any workmanship issues that arise from our installation will be remedied at our cost within a reasonable period after completion. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability under any project is limited to the value of the works. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you have where you engage us as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
